Stained Glass

Beaverlodge is very fortunate to have an exceptional number of talented artists and craftspeople. Our Cultural Centre is a great place to be introduced to their work. The Cultural Centre features a lovely tearoom, art gallery, gift shop, a large potters and weavers studio and more. The building itself was originally the town’s hospital for many years.

The Cultural Centre is also home of the community’s archives, our Historical Assocation, artists, musicians, and a picture framer. You will find them in the 1937 hospital building located behind the big Beaver! Many art and craft courses are offered throughout the year. The art gallery features a new show every month.

Tea Room
The location of the Cultural Centre is just off the highway in the old building behind the Big Beaver, (512 5th Avenue), and it features a new show every month. They open daily (except Mondays) Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Come see works done by local artists and enjoy a cup of tea in our lovely pink tea room. The Centre carries local art work, including pottery & stained glass as well as many historical books that are offered for sale. For more information call Debbie Ducharme at 780-354-3600.
