The Beaverlodge RCMP detachment serves an area of 3,000 sq. miles, including Beaverlodge, Hythe, Valhalla and Elmworth. The population served is approximately 18,000 people. Special programs include Victims Assistance, D.A.R.E. and Rural Crime Watch.

Fire Department

The Beaverlodge Fire Department is a volunteer organization, made up of twenty-five members. We have two fire engines (one town, and one county), a fire rescue truck and the jaws of life. The department serves the town and the surrounding county.

Ambulance Service

Emergency Medical Services are provide to the town of Beaverlodge by Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Medical Services (GPREMS) and can be activated through 911.

GPREMS maintains stations in Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Spirit River and Valleyview. All stations provide Advanced Life Support to the residents of those communities and surrounding area.
