Animal Control 

The Grande Prairie S.P.C.A. is contracted to provide dog control for the Town of Beaverlodge. This service involves routine patrols on an irregular basis. Any dogs found running at large may be impounded. The S.P.C.A. will be taking impounded animals to their facilities in Grande Prairie. Owners must contact the S.P.C.A. regarding impounded animals and for payment of reclaim fees to have their animals released, their contact number is 780-538-4030.

As per the Town of Beaverlodge Animal Control By-Law No. 830 no person or persons shall keep or allow to be kept more than 2 (two) dogs that have reached 6 (six) months of age, on a parcel of land 10(ten) acres or less in size. Dog owners are required to license their dog(s) by registering at the Town Office, tags are free.
